U.B.C Interprofessional Continuing Education is in the midst of collecting abstracts for the 2nd International Conference on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder titled Research. Policy & Practise Around the World.The conference is to be held at the Victoria conference centre Victoria BC March 07 - March 10 2007
The members of the FASD Community Circle are concerned that the separation of funding for the new FASD/CDBC clinics (diagnosis and assessment with Ministry of Health and support through MCDF) could lead to service gaps for children and their families. In the attached position paper we make nine recommendations on how we believe support services from MCFD must be seamlessly integrated with diagnostic and assessment services from the Ministry of Health.
